ISLE OF RAASAY DISTILLERY

The Isle of Raasay is known for its breath-taking natural beauty, exaggerated landscapes, impressive geology, and an incredibly diverse ecosystem. Every drop of spirit is distilled, matured and bottled on the island using water from the Raasay Distillery well, maximising the influence of the island on the spirit, and the distillery on the island.

ISLE OF RAASAY DISTILLERY HOTEL

We are the only distillery in Scotland where you can stay overnight in the same building as a working distillery. Wake up at the distillery for an unforgettable experience, where whisky and hospitality go hand in hand. Borodale House, a Victorian villa transformed into a state-of-the-art distillery with six ensuite bedrooms, can be booked individually or by groups of up to 12.

Raasay House Outdoor Activities

Raasay House offers a fantastic range of outdoor activities to residents and visitors alike. Activities include rock climbing, coasteering, kayaking, sailing and archery. They also offer bikes for hire and provide wildlife spotting boat trips.

DUN CAAN

Dun Caan is the highest point on the Isle of Raasay. Its flat-topped peak is 432m above sea level and rewards the walker with amazing 360 degree views of the Skye Cuillins, across the Outer Hebrides, and back to Applecross and the mainland. Steep at times but clearly marked, allow a minimum of two hours from the car park.

RAASAY HOUSE HOTEL

Raasay House Hotel offers teas and cakes, lunches and dinners, and has a bar open to the public.

ISLE OF RAASAY FERRY

Calmac offers one ferry to the island from Sconser on Skye. This is a turn up and go service with no advance booking available, with limited service on Sundays.
